Me and Myself
My name is Md. Adnan Quaium. "Md" is the short form of "Muhammad". According to the culture of Bangladesh, almost every Bangladeshi has his/her own nick name. My nick name is "Tanim"; I am quite familiar with this name among my family and friend circle. Sometimes converted to "Tanim""Tanu" as a short form [which is very favourite to my grandama]. Also my friends like to call me "MAQ". Well... My favorite nick is the combination of "MAQ" and "TANIM". That's why you are seeing this sites' title is MAQtanim.
Currently I am conducting my MSc in Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science of TU Delft. My track is telecommunications.
Before that I was a Lecturer in the Department of Elelctrical and Electronic Engineering in Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology. I was there from October 2006 (after the three weeks of my graduation from IUT) to September 2008.I obtained my B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Department of EEE at Islamic University of Technology (IUT), which is one of the highest ranked technical university and the only one international university in my country (Bangladesh). Looking further back, I passed my HSC (Higher-secondary School Certificate) from Notre Dame College in 2002, from the Science Division under Dhaka Board of Education. I got my SSC (Secondary School Certificate) from Ispahani Public School and College in 2000 in the Science Division under Chittagong Board of Education.
I was born in October 16, 1985 in Chittagong, Bangladesh. My father Md. Abdul Quaium is a Marine Engineer and my mother Nigar Sultana is a house wife. She was a High school teacher when we were in Chittagong. My younger sister Nuzhat Farah is currently studying in Viquarunnisa Noon College. She is currently going through her 11th grade class and is expecting to give her HSC exam in the year 2010.About my future... well... I can say that I am always trying to live in the present, from where I can dream about the future. But one thing I can say you, I could have done good at a lot of other things that I am not doing right now or am not at least supposed to do now. I always prefer my interest. This interest drag me to the engineering career.
Well, I think that's all about me in a nutshell...
